At one point last evening, Big Red turned to me and asked, "...so are you winning?" My answer, "...uh no." Short and to the point. Those best laid plans, just ain't gonna pan out there people. Ah but it was fun to pretend. I'd like to be able to say that I've been distracted and too interested in winning and getting the $$$'s to head to Vegas with but I can't say that's been the problem. No really. I honestly can't blame it on... well... anything at all. It is what it is. I can't even particularly say that those others at the tables have been donks or sharks. I can't say that I've been playing badly or well either. In hindsight, I can't even pinpoint anything that I might or might not have done. Most of my reads have been very good, but unfortunately they've been reads which tell me that I'm beat! The reads which are most disturbing are those hands, when I start with an AK or AQ, and big PP, and I get a caller or so, just calling my bets, pre and post flop. All-too-often I've found these guys are "just" calling or "smooth" calling and they got or get the goods. I've had sense and the presence of mind to get away from it, but not without giving away good money on good cards all for naught. Also, lately it's been my experience that when I opt NOT to fire the third bullet on after the Turn card, and the guy to act after me, tosses out a pot or larger than life bet...he really does have it. I've been fortunate in the fact that I've normally had at least one other guy in the hand that invariably makes the call so I've been able to witness the slaughter, and have proof positive that I was in fact beat! Yes, it provides comfort to know that I'm not winning but I'm losing the RIGHT way. (interpret thick layer of sarcasm) I did contribute a bit of extra loss to the affair last night with another $10-spot to the evils of blackjack. Okay, I get it...it's a guilty pleasure. The ring games last night didn't do me any good. I did however hit 3rd in an el cheapo SNG. It was a miracle. I am mystified by how some people severely over value hands. I've watched bets and reraises out there by guys who you can just feel actually believe they have a great hand, and I get to watch from the sidelines as they get butchered. In most cases the hand that I already dropped was superior to the one they are out there gunnin' with...but I had the presence of mind to step away from it knowing that the NUTS hand is there just itchin' to felt me. I've avoided those traps. I've seen guys slow playin' their pocket aces, with 4 and 5 people in the pot. This just floors me. I've had my all-ins called down by J-8s type hands, and I sit in awe. Don't confuse awe for admiration!
I'd like to start shadowing some players at the tables. But picking the players is a bit of a mystery. I've wandered YouTube and found postings of extended virtual table cams, where a player is recording his own session to show how and what they are doing. One I thought was very interesting to say the least was Annette Obrestad's video of her playing a SNG with a post-it note covering her holecards from her own view (in the video you the viewer could see her holecards of course.) I watched her early on fold pocket Kings, unbeknownst to her at the time. She was playing primarily by position...to an extreme, regardless of her cards or stack. I had heard some on the forums attest to how well she played position and that this video was a testament to how important that is, and how truly great annette_15 really is. And while I admire Annette's accomplishments and continued success and repeatability, what I saw in the video was some monstrous good luck. I recall several KEY hands in which she used her position to raise big but should have been clobbered when pushed, but she sucked out! BAD! I'm not saying that we all don't do it from time to time, but man she was runnin' hot at the right times. Not all the time, but just at the right time.
I'm also struck by the fact that my play does typically allow me to win "a little." But NEVER "a lot." I know that's subjective, but here's what I mean. Sure I'm down a few bucks on PokerRewards, but I can drop back and hunker down and over time I'll rebuild back to where I was before. But I'll approach and reach a glass ceiling. And then it'll begin to drop off again. My online and offline sessions are typically punctuated by SLOW starts. No cards, early on, blinding off and giving away 1/4 to 1/2 of my stack in blinds and bets on my good cards, but not connecting. Then I'll hit something...that'll JUST get me back up, just shy of where I started out and I'll just kind of tread water at the table. I never hit big. I never weight my end of the table down with a copious amount of chips. Baby Steps...lotsa baby steps, but never a big or medium profitable run. Reading some guys out there routinely 8-12 tabling at $.50/$1.00 or $1/$2 NLHE tables and turning up profitable sessions nearly all of the time. Now you KNOW 8-12 tabling they're not paying an enormous amount of attention to any one table or any specific players, or taking meaningful notes. They're playing "by the numbers" poker. And I think many of you would classify MY GAME as such. Not a lot of bluffs, very few hands, played, usually no more that 30-35% played preflop, which I don't think anyone would argue that is too many or few, but is probably about right. As of late however, my showdown wins have been under 60%. I would think that number needs to be A LOT higher. Getting rivered, sucked out on, blahblahblah, accounts for some of it, but I would think I need to be closer to around 80+% win rate at showdown. So there's a hole in there somewhere, I just gotta find it. I don't think I'm taking mediocre holdings too far, but it is possible and I'll have to admit it. I need to be tracking progress better. I really do need to get Poker Tracker or some equivalent up and cranking in a useful fashion. Rather than speculation, I need some cold hard facts to point to. So that'll be my next goal on the road to Pokerdom. I need better notes and session tracking information to look back to. I need to pick a style and stick to it exclusively! No mish mash of my method, as it usually just frustrates no one but me.
I also need to pick my poison. Ring Games and levels, SNG's or MTT's.
I need to get some money out on Full Tilt Poker, because I'd really like to try my hand at the Mookie tourneys and some of the other blogger goodness tournements that I keep reading about. Some of my favorite bloggers that I read daily are playing there, and I think I should give that room a shot again. : ) I didn't do so well there once upon a time, but then again it was a very long time ago AND I risked more than a fair share with a really good hand that encountered the nuts and sent me to the rail. At the time I had money on a lot of different sites and I just opted to slink away to one of them instead of redepositing. It made more sense, and it seemed to me that if I'd deposited again, I'd feel like I was playing from behind and I'd be trying too hard and ultimately I'd give way to the forces of TILT! So there was a thought process...and maybe I'm not as all ZEN as all that, but I was at least trying to control my heart beat and rate of breathing, so at least give me the "A" for effort people. Speaking of Zen, I'm currently reading "Zen and the Art of Poker" by Larry Phillips. I know...weirdo, geek, card playerey type shtuff. I'll probably finish it and something else while I'm in Shepherdstown, WV for the next couple of weeks for training. Incidentally, I'm STILL mad at you voters in Jefferson County for not approving "table gaming" at Charles Town Races and Slots, which I'll be within 15 minutes of for this trip. You know where I'd have been every night after class don't you! My prediction in like 3-ish years that you'll be reversing this decision and rolling in the tables and chips. But you know you'll have to wait the full 4 years before putting it back on the ballot now, don't cha! : ) That wasn't a very Zen thing to say now was it! : P
But enough about poker... (pant, pant)
The other topic I wanted to at least give "some" attention to is the SEASON FOUR PREMIERE of LOST!!! Wahoo!!! At least the next 8 episode installments that the writers have decided to grace us with in this mid season/year time to be releasing a series on tv. Whatever it is, I for one am EXTREMEMLY grateful! As always there were more questions than answers in this episode. So much to continue wondering (obsessing about.) The Oceanic 6, Jacob, Charlie, Daniel Faraday, Christian, and a new mystery Matthew Abbadon! I loved the intermingled Oceanic Airlines commercials! THIS is what TV should be! I won't try to cover it for anyone in depth. If you haven't watched it, that's your own fault, go rent it starting from Season 1 and get caught up. For those of you who are avid fans, you know I could spend days out here writing and theorizing about what all is going on on the show. Instead, I'll point you to http://losteastereggs.blogspot.com/ or the homepage proper for it http://darkufo.blogspot.com/. This is a blog/site that I thoroughly enjoy. Visitor participation is great and the Hi Rez screencaptures are fantastic. These guys are workin' hard. Thanks for feeding the addiction and keep up the good work!
And oh there's JR's email announcing NDPT Tourney #2 of the year! February 16th at 6:00pm, this time at his house. I've responded...how about YOU!!!
I've got to wrap this up now...got a few loose ends to deal with before leaving!

Additional recap, my planning, and LOST
After 1/2 stacking myself because of the AQ and KQ hands; I end up in the big blind with K10os. No raise to speak of, flop comes Kd-9d-4c. I bet 2/3 pot, get raised all-in, and even the other player insta calls. Turn is another diamond...once again that squishy feeling. BUT, here's the proverbial kick in the crotch. I was behind from the get go...not even a Big Blind special for your ole pal cheer_dad. I flop top pair, with mediocre kicker, while the guy who popped it hit his set of 9's, and the other guy, who held the mighty Ace of diamonds and some other rag diamond. So, really I never stood a chance. Horrific session...and oh by the way did I mention that since it was so late when I was playing, and mass beer quantities had me JONESIN' for poker that I had to take one of the few games available to me on PokerRewards, which wasn't the lowly .10/.20 NLHE game but (gasp) the .25/.50 NLHE game. Now it all makes sense to you doesn't it. Lady Luck apparantly read my plans and disparaging remarks about her in yesterday's first post, and replied with "...oh no he di'in't...here's a lil variance love byatch! How you like me now!"
Oh yeah maybe here I should offer up that in my poker imagination that Lady Luck is actually two women. "Good Lady Luck" is Maria Bello from The Cooler (http://imdb.com/title/tt0318374/) dice tattoo and all. While "Bad Lady Luck" is this nameless black/latino little vixen with dominatrix tendencies. (The cat-o-nine-tails hurts so good though!)
Wow, now when I get off on a tangent...
ANYWAY, the whole Vegas trip in July is not necessarily a dead issue, just because of one crappy run at online poker. And I'm not blaming luck in reality, when I know I played it horribly there at last. The AQ and KQ hands hurt but didn't kill me, in fact I had the sense to table one of them when it became apparant that my opponent hit his flush. He called $3 preflop raise by me with J8 sooted, and got where he needed to be. I knew it, er felt it, and got out, while the other two idiot callers did not, which is why I got to see it ALL play out. Okay, back on track again... Big Red even mentioned going to Vegas to see the WSOP again! She really enjoyed that trip last time! And she had logged on yesterday and checked on flight costs! And she started telling everyone all about it at dinner last night. Interest was sparked!!! She says she'll have the money, from an extra Christmas Club account she set up! : ) Me...of course I'm on my own! Well there's always the plasma thing or I could just be a drug mule! Is it tough swallowing that balloon full of cash crop? Digressing again huh...
Well that's enough my minions, I've babbled on enough, and to be honest, I stayed up way too late, in my stupor and got precious little sleep. I really gotta work on that sleeping with my eyes open trick for the occaissional at work nap time. : ) Kidding boss, kidding!
OH and the big news of the day...or night...LOST is on TONIGHT!!! 8 new episodes of cliffhanger goodness tide the masses over! For all the lowdown and discussion that's fit to print and/or blog head over to: http://losteastereggs.blogspot.com/
Big Red and I are both stoked about watching LOST tonight. The kids have strict orders to pipe down, and ALL phones will be ignored for the duration of tonight's show. And we have caller ID if anyone gets any bright ideas!
Well this post is now... a wrap! I've covered enough ground here for a few days worth of posting.

Okay, okay...that was over the top
Thank you Frank for pulling me away from the edge of the abyss. When you told me over dinner that you couldn't make sense of my last post...reality set in. Well that and losing money at the Eagles... : ) and then even later on PokerRewards having AQc and KQ rammed up my ass even after flopping a queen in each instance. Big Red covered the Eagles losses. The PokerRewards -$50... eh... not so much.
Oh well there's still what like 152 days in which to friggin' regroup.
How much can I get for donating plasma?
And I can do that how often?
Next of kin?

The plot thickens...

Okay, to many of you I know the number crunching from the last post was laughable. I mean really here's some schmo lamenting about trying to raise $1,000 in the span of like 155 days to run his fool ass off to Vegas again to "watch" the start of the WSOP 2008 Main Event. The poor schmuck (sp) is so pathetic that he's questioning whether or not he could raise that kinda money...and even chops it down to daily and weekly poker winnings required to get the job done. Yeah, it was pretty sad. And yeah I'm a pathetic loser. But unfortunately for all you nay-sayers out there, now I'm dangerous. I'm a loser with a hair-brained idea! Building on the insanity of yesterday's post...and fueled by morbid curiosity, I logged onto PokerRewards last night, and fired up 2 (count 'em two) .10/.20 NLHE tables (maximum buy-in a whopping $20 each.) Considering what I still have online you'll recognize that was a sizeable chunk of it. Incidentally, I had to scratch my head a little when I saw the cute little balance. It was a tad bigger than I'd remembered, then it dawned on... while I was in Vegas, running bad live, and in a drunken stupor I fired up the laptop late one night and played a $10 SNG and finished in 3rd place, in addition to garnering a few bucks at a simultaneous ring game that I was playing. I know...what was I thinkin'. And Frank where the hell were you and why didn't you stop me! Anyway...back on track... I didn't start out so well on the 1st table (which is why I fired up the second game) when I flopped an open ended straight draw and pushed everyone out of the pot but the one guy who had a gutshot straight draw. Neither of us made it, in fact we each had at least one of the others outs! However, I was going for the King high straight and numb-nuts was going for the Ace high straight, and his hole ace (or ACE-HOLE as I called him) and his high card ace was enough to take down the pot, dropping me 6 bucks on the first hand I played. Oh well, pipe dream cheer_dad, you didn't have a prayer. Then, we change focus to the other table... I'm seeing patterns in betting emerge, stupidity and thinly veiled steals of pots actually working for a couple of guys at the table. They were running the joint. A couple of Pushy-McPushPants types. cheer_dad decides to test the waters, and repush with nothing. It works once...then I try again, and get snagged this time, but not for too much, but I end up having to show some trash that I was trying it with, and took a few heckling remarks. Now, the time is right. I wait a few hands and try pushing again, this time cards with teeth. I get reraised, I push all-in over that, and well whatdya know this time, I wasn't foolin' guys. I felt one guy, who instantly rebuys...and he begins this I got balls routine of shoving all in on nearly every hand, particularly when I'm in the blinds and he's to my right! I slink back into the felt for what seemed like an eternity. The table actually starts to break up, as others are getting frustrated. I finally pick a hand (junk) and raise, and he reraises me...I fold, and whine a little. A few hands later, he pops it again on my big blind. I pause ad nauseum...and then just re-pop him. He shoves right back, all-in. I insta call with my pocket Queens, which hold against his A3os. The software censored him... He rebought and then others began to enjoy the circle jerk that ensued. I waited and caught just a couple more pots, and then cashed out up $18.40 for my short time at the table. I know, that sounds small, but again...this is .10/.20 people. Cut me some friggin' slack. Anyway, that puts me up just under 3 days!!!
3 days? Huh cheer_dad... well I continued to crunch those numbers folks...and even worked up a spreadsheet to support the insanity, but if I can pop my meager little bankroll the $6 1/2-ish per day for the next 154 days, I could theoretically hit the $grand$ by the time the Main Event starts! Hmmm, maybe I should mention this to Big Red...nah, it'll wait! : )
To further fuel this "episode" I logged on to USAirways today, and well whatdya know flights that would put me in Vegas for the opening ceremony of the WSOP Main Event are (gasp) a mere $232!!! I know...some of you can hear the gears in my twisted little mind turning right now. I know one good run was a fluke, and it'll come crashin' down, but now it's a challenge. It's like Lady Luck just byatch slapped me and threw down the gauntlet. It's on... and cheer_dad's doin' this thang!
And if I fail miserably in the attempt, well you can all just say you were there to see the meltdown, and that it all makes sense why "...he careened his Dodge pickup off the cliff..." when someone shoves a mike in your face. You were there at the beginning of the end.
How's that for a caffeine buzzed post!?!

A day at PokerRewards
Today was a lost day... It was my AWS, and I had only a few errands/tasks to accomplish, including trip to the dentist, and going to the DMV. Dental went off without a hitch, the DMV as is usually the case was a disaster, but at least I didn't waste much time. I went to renew my license. I got one of the "take a number" numbers and waited for my turn. When I was called and headed to the window, I handed over my paperwork and dug out my money. She typed in my information and ...waited...ad nauseum! "Oh no...well our computer system has been down all morning but we've been trying it everytime..." Information I could have used when I walked in, but whatever. To her credit she told me the system was down statewide, and I could call in first before wasting a trip (you know in addition to the one I'd already made.) C'est la vie... So, I head back home and get started on the mound of laundry and then fire up PokerRewards. I sit down at a couple of .05/.10 NLHE tables and just feel the life and chips being sucked out of me. I think I lost time there somehow. I know a few IQ points went down the drain. No cards, no wins, no opps to steal even a couple of paltry blinds. Just frackin' dismal. I join a $5 SNG, realizing only too late that it's an Ultra-Turbo. Oh the donkey parade. Ugh...it was horrid, and I of course got sucked out on, blahblahblah... no one really cares about that one hand I had the one time (I know Frank.) Frustration enters, not quite tilt, but close enough. So close in fact that I fire up the accursed BLACKJACK. Yes, JJ it is fuckin' evil. Yes the F-Bomb boys and girls. In matters of the BLACKJACK, the terms of my self-censorship do not apply. Deal with it! Anyway that wretched game sucks about $30 out of me, and leaves me with very little dignity. With the paltry remainder of my PokerRewards bankroll, I throw caution and my mind to the wind. Fire up a .50/1.00 NLHE table, and seat my dumb self with my last $80. Stupid...I know. Early on I make a call based more on a feeling than analysis. It really felt like my opponent was buying it after the flop came up. In his defense he was on a flush draw with his K-10 of diamonds...but my AQos had connected with the Queen on the flop as well. He had made it $4.50 to go preflop and I went along for the ride, He INSTA-POPPED it for all his chips...which I had covered. I called after some deliberation. I at first thought he wanted to prevent ME from hitting the flush, not the other way around. I need to remember this in my other games. Sometimes they put too much stock in that potential flush draw. Learn it...use it... That win, put me up around $130-ish. Now there were some additional ups and downs, but none of them were the evil BLACKJACK induced! I lost $20 on a hand with my AQ0s (as luck would have it) when my opponent turned over his AKos for the win. Say it with me...ACTION DRIVEN ALGORITHM! I saw more pocket pairs run into other pocket pairs than I care to remember. Luckily I wasn't normally involved, since pocket pairs were something that just weren't comin' my way. BUT I saw 3 pocket pairs go at it for all the marbles once... AA vs KK vs JJ...and the JACKS laughed all the way to the bank! Ooof, that'll leave a mark. But since I was logged on and playin' I saw a couple of freerolls firing up. The first was NLHE, semi turbo-ish, and like 10,000+ players to start. I finished in the low level money, for a buck, or so, which was pretty impressive, considering the donk field...and the idiocy that ensued...and generally so many people playing for so little actual money. It was fun nonetheless and gave me another table to watch. But then I got involved with the 5-card-draw PL game. I've played draw before, I guess, but I can say that PokerRewards does offer up some oddball tournaments to wet your whistle on. I did, and had a ball with it. As you can see I finished 29th out of the initial 892 players. Sounds cool...and profitable doesn't it. Well cool...but profit ehhh, not so much. They don't get as many fools to play these lesser games, and so the prize pool is diminished. But I'll be back. All in all, despite the BLACKJACK losses, and a few of my bad calls, I managed to move up a few dollars on the site, while increasing my number of raked hands considerably today. I started with $126. Now, I'm at $141.02. I know tiny baby steppin' cheer_dad. But let's remember that I was down to my last $80, and the poker gods did look down, and for once took pity on my miserable existence. They threw me a bone of sorts the first time with the AQos. They simply reminded me who was boss when they didn't let me win with it the second time. : ) I believe the Yanok's are hosting on Friday night...and Big Red and I will be there for sure! And then on Saturday it's off to do battle with the whole crew courtesy of the Wolfe's...and again Big Red and I will be there. Man we've got issues. But you gotta have a hobby right?! : )
Time to go watch the rest of the OSU vs LSU game. Big Red is getting much too much enjoyment out of watching bad things happen to the Buckeyes. : P See you all soon!

Last night recap, and NDPT Year End tonight
Despite the fact that both of my kids took off to spend the night elsewhere last night (Whitney with Jordan, and Cole with my parents) and then last minute Big Red decided to take off for Bingo Night with her mother, I opted NOT to go play poker over at Shuman's! What's wrong with me? I dunno, I just really wasn't in the mood to play "live" poker. Go figure...I must be sick! Instead, in an odd mood I just wanted to be alone for a while. I sat down in front of my new Acer 22" monitor to put it to the online poker test, iTunes smooth jazz channel playin' in the background (no friggin' wonder I'm so melancholy) I was just dabbling around at a few tables of the .05/.10 NLHE variety on PokerRewards.com. I played looser than ever, tracking back I saw that I was seeing the flop over 50% of the time! Absurd, unheard of for the cheer_dad! Despite that initially I was winning 7%!!! That just won't cut it. Glad I was playing low stakes online rather than at Shuman's trying to grind that out at one table at a time. I would have been out of my mind. I remember really only 3 key hands of this losing night. By losing I'm talking less than $8.00 total, : )... I had my set of 10's rammed up my arse when the limping AKs on the other end of the table, called my reraise post flop, with his top pair (duh) and then proceeded to hit runner/runner for his straight and the rest of my chips. I rebought, and not many hands later, I looked down at wired Aces, from the Big Blind. It is raised and called by lots of folks. I bump it hard, wanting to thin the herd, and still get 2 callers. I had already decided whatever came out on the flop, I was smackin' the All-In button. I did and got a single caller. My rockets held and that put me back on track at that table. Then back to the other table, which had been slower, and I wasn't catching much. I call I small raise from late position with pocket 3's. I flop my set, and my grin sets in. The guy in front of me bets out, I raise him, he reraises, I go all in. Unfortunately the 2-3-4 rainbow had given my worthy opponent his high end straight, with his 5-6s. The board never paired, and he took it down. So that was the hand that would have put me back on the positive side, but in the end knocked me for the 8 bucks. Hey, it could've been MUCH worse. About that time, Big Red returned from Bingo and felt like going to the Eagle's for a bit, to check on the tips from the previous night, that she'd played (which turned out to be duds!) We dropped a few bucks in the one armed bandits, and just spent some time together, just the two of us. We had a good time.
Tonight's the BIG NIGHT! NDPT Year-End Tournament time starts at 6:00pm. I've had a few callers today, asking if there's room for them, and thus we are now at a total of 28 players for tonight. Assuming everyone shows up, which is highly likely...minus Julie (since she won her seat) the prize pool will be at a nosebleed level of $1,350. This is the kind of night that could really turn the year around for anyone who's been in the poker cellar this year. Why...I resemble that remark. Y'all BEWARE!!!
Hope everyone is looking their best for tonight since the "Flip" camcorder will be in full use throughout the night by anyone wants to give it a go. I get dibs on anything crossing the lines of prudish decency. Say cheese! Nonetheless it'll be hard to top Big Red's Heely's demonstration. : ) It just never gets old does it!
Game time now 2 1/2 hours from now. See you bunch of degenerates real soon.

cheer_dad

Another baby step online, and WVU sucks!
After WVU's dismal failure during last nights game, the family and I returned from the Wolfe's. I won't even go into detail about the game it irritated me so much. I logged on briefly to Poker Rewards to play just a few hands. A few is all that I did. But for a good reason! After about a 1/2 round of play, I look down at rockets! The table has moved slow thus far, so I opted just to make it 2X the BB. I get only 1 caller. The flop is 2-2-5. I bet the pot. Lone caller just calls. The turn is an 8. I bet 1/2 pot. Lone caller again, just calls. Now before you go, yeah those'll get you every time, you shoulda dropped the bullets, let me tell you the river card. Another ACE!!! Only one hand in the deck can kill me now. Normally I would accept your pity, but not this time. I bet pot again, for all my marbles. He CALLS! I show...and he MUCKS!!! I make $18.xx in less than 10 minutes of play. Big Red says it's time for bed...sounds like a good idea, I'll quit while I'm ahead. Have $133.xx on that site now.
Only other thing I'm interested in, is finding out what brought JR's date to an end last night. BUT on the positive side, it sounded like he was having a great run at the $1/$2 NLHE table! Apparently everyone but of course him, was interested in the WVU vs Pitt game. Gotta run.

I dunno...
Beats me how it happened, but while killing time last night waiting for my daughter and her friend to finish up at the Skating Rink, I fired up a couple of freerolls at PokerStars, that I'd remembered signing up for a couple of days ago. I'd stumbled upon them while looking for a strategy article the other day. Some tie in to Daniel Negraneau, or something. Play with him in the Bahamas, or Paradise, or some such idiocy. I had to leave and despite having a respectable stack in the one, when I returned I was down to pocket change, and got it all in for one last hand, but lost to a worse hand, which drew out on me. Oh well. But I'd kinda forgotten about the other tourney that I just left for it's own dismal failure after that. This morning when I log on to check my email though, I've got a congratulatory email from PokerStars for finishing in the money...Now brace yourself for the amount... $1.00! Which brings my PokerStars account up to a grand total of, now let me figure it, carry the 4, times the square root of an imaginary number and that gives us, well huh friggin' $1.00!!! But hey, isn't this exactly how Chris Ferguson started out his low stakes odyssey a while back, in an effort to go from nothing to $10,000? Just watch and learn ye nay-sayers! Scoff if you will. With these 100 pennies I shall build a bankroll over which you'll all drool! What...it could happen! Then, while updating all my poker clients today, I accidentally seated myself over at Poker Rewards in a .10/.20 NLHE game. And before I could stop it, I was posted and dealt! Friggin' shortcuts anyway. Long story short thought, before the blinds circled back around to me again, I ended up with an extra $1.44 for my short lived efforts. Beware the Q-10os, for once it paid. So, I logged out, and called the unintentioned move a WIN! Well that's enough patting myself on the back for these paltry sums. See you next time.
