It's Friday at the WSOP.

Event 33 - $5,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low World Championship has been won by Sebastian Ruthenberg after coming out on top of the 261 entrants. Top prize for the event was $328,756. To get there he and Chris Ferguson battled it out heads-up for over three hours! According to the post at http://www.pokernews.com/live-reporting/2008-world-series-of-poker/event-33-5000-seven-card-stud-hi-lo-wc/ when it came down to the final two, Ferguson enjoyed a 2-to-1 chip lead. Ruthenberg came from behind and got a slight edge, only later to get crippled back to 200,000 chips, and STILL managing to climb back out of the hole one more time to finally take it down. congratulations to him! Other notables who finished near the top were Marcel Luske in 4th, followed in 5th by Annie Duke!

Event 34 - $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha w/Rebuys is down to the final 9 of 320 initial players. They will get started on Day 3 today at 2:00pm PDT. $577,725 awaits... Ted Forrest is currently 2nd in chips to Kyle Kloeckner. A couple of other notables with respectable chip stacks are Dario Alioto and Layne Flack.

Event 36 - $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em will begin Day 2 at 2:00pm PDT, where the remaining 189 will continue to narrow the field.

Event 37 - $10,000 Omaha Hi-Low World Championship started Day 1 with 235, which has been weeded down to its final 123. A number of noted pros remain in this high-dollar event, among them and near the top in third and 4th in chips are Annie Duke and Erick Lindgren. Oh and Roland De Wolfe is in there too, so were bound to have more of those little cliches of "Hungry like de Wolfe" in the Live Reporting section of http://www.pokernews.com/live-reporting/.

Event 38 - $2,000 Pot-Limit Hold'em is slated to get underway today at noon.
There's so much more to come! Stay tuned.
