Event 36 - $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em has been won by Jesper Hougaard. This makes his first WSOP bracelet and the $610,304 prize ain't too shabby either. Congratulations.

Event 37 - $10,000 Omaha Hi-Low World Championship has ended and atop the 235 initial entrants one came out on top, David Benyamine! This makes his first WSOP bracelet and the $535,687. Congratulations. Also, note that Mike Matusow scored a 5th place finish in the event.

Event 38 - $2,000 Pot-Limit Hold'em has been narrowed down to the final 9, which will reconvene today.

Event 39 - $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em will begin its Day 2 at 2:00pm today, with 218 of the initial 2,720 entrants remaining.

Scheduled to get underway today are Event 40 - $2,500 2-7 Triple Draw and Event 41 - $1,500.
