Mike Matusow takes down Event #18, and other updates

Event 18 - $5,000 No-Limit 2-7 Draw w/ Rebuys Mike Matusow took down the top prize of $537,862, and adds to his collection a THIRD WSOP Bracelet. Yes, I was rooting for E-Dog, but I can't begrudge The Mouth! You can't help but like the guy! You gotta give him his due. Winning the 100K prop bet for losing the 60lbs, and now winning this. Congratulations Mikey!!! Good luck to you in the rest of the Series!
Event 19 - $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha is now down to the final 9 from the original 759. Currently, Vanessa Selbst is at the top of the heap with nearly 3X the chips of her closest competitor. A $227,965 payout and a shiny bracelet awaits!

Event 20 - $2,000 Limit Hold'em is STILL GOING ON! Talk about your marathon sessions! They are finally down to 9 of the original 480. Daniel Negreanu still remains in this game, and has recovered more than a few times from losses. $204,874 still awaits its winner.

Event 21 - $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em has completed Day 1 and 121 players remain of the original 732. There's still a lot of poker to be played in this one, for now though, hopefully they're getting some sleep.

Event 22 - $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. has called it a day as well, down to 144 of the original 414. A large contingent of pros still remains in this event and things are too close to call.
Stay tuned to http://www.pokernews.com/live-reporting/ as always...
