Event 23 - $2,000 No-Limit Hold'em Blair Hinkle Wins $507,563 AND joins his brother Grant Hinkle in scoring a WSOP bracelet for 2008! Recall that Grant took down Event #2 for a $ 831,462 payday. Congratulations to them both for a phenomenal year!
Event 24 - $2,500 Pot-Limit Hold'em/Omaha has finally been claimed by Max Pescatori for a payday of $246,471. Allen Cunningham was only able to hold on so long and claim the 4th place finish of $76,205. Congratulations to everyone in this event.
Event 25 - $10,000 Heads Up No-Limit Hold'em World Championship is down to the semifinals, with only the final 4 remaining, still chasing the $539,056 payday. Vanessa Selbst will play Alec Torelli, while Kenny Tran will face off against Jonathan Jaffe. The winners of those battles will then compete in a best 2 out of 3 to claim the top prize of $539,056.
Event 26 - $1,500 Razz resumes today at 3:00pm PDT. The field is down to the final 8, and most notably still in the running with the 2nd largest chip count is Barry Greenstein. Good Luck Barry!
Event 27 - $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em will continue today with 224 of the initial 2,706 players still battling it out.
Event 28 - $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha w/ Rebuys continues today with 54 of the 152 remaining. The field is absolutely littered with Full Tilt Poker sponsored pros! Only the top 18 will get paid out in this event., with a top prize of $817,781.
Event 29 - $3,000 No Limit Hold'em is now playing, in early reports Jennifer Tilly enjoys the chip lead.
Event 30 - $10,000 Limit Hold'em World Championship will start today at 5:00pm PDT.
