The first tournament of the year for the N Debt Poker Tour is now over! Nice turnout and a lot of fun was had by all. Prolly some more than others! Anyway 23 players in all showed up to play, and when the dust settled and the smoke cleared Matt Hensley stood a top the mountain of chips to claim the victory. Congratulations! JR (the birthday boy) cashed out in 2nd to continue his winning ways on the birthday tournament (cheer_dad did not fare so well.) TJ came in 3rd, while Mike Westbrook grinded out a very respectable 4th place finish. Dennis rounded out the winners in 5th. All of these fine players have assured themselves a place in the year-end tournament, with their win. I will work on putting together the points totals on a new and improved spreadsheet that I'll reference here on the blog and website. I hope everyone had a great time. With one tournament in thus far, the year-end pot that will be battled for is already at $110.
