The cross town rivalry football matchup of Parkersburg High School and Parkersburg South High School is tonight! The PHS Big Reds (3-3) play host at Stadium Field to the PSHS Patriots (4-2.) As is always the case excitement is high for this game. Throughout the state of West Virginia this is known as one of the hottest rivalries around. My wife (Big Red) graduated from PHS, while I graduated from PSHS, we live on South Side and our daughter CHEERS for PSHS, so you do the math (and it ain't friggin' geometry) we'll be cheering the Patriots on to night. We leave very shortly so this will have to settle for a post.
