Fighting a bout w/ negativity

Not all days can look bright.
Not all days have storybook beginnings and happily ever afters.
It's not always the "red" wire.
It's not always the "blue" pill.
What it's cracked up to be...and
What it really turns out to be, rarely match.
Keeping an open mind and
Keeping your sanity, are not always part of the same list.
Not everything goes as planned
Not everything "should" go as planned.
Be steadfast in your convictions
Be prepared to compromise.
Act fearless and arrogant
Act fearful and ignorant
Assume nothing and you know why
Assume that it will still be your responsibility.
Know that your best efforts, will rarely be viewed as enough.
Know that your best efforts, are all that you can truly give.
When it all comes down to "this"...consider yielding
When it all comes down to "this"...DON'T!
