That's all I can offer up as a recap gang. I'm exhausted after the last day of the Reds' Legends Baseball Camp. Cole and I had a fantastic time all three days. I think I really need to ice down my throwing arm... man it sucks to get old. But the pain was worth the memories of time spent together. But getting pointers on pitching technique from the mound by Don Gullett http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Gullett Reds '70-'76 Yankees '77-'78; and then later getting batting tips from George Foster http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Foster_(baseball) Giants '69-'71, Reds '71-81, Mets '82-'86, and White Sox '86... these are truly remarkable experiences to be cherished.
But for now... I'm spent and going to lounge a bit then perhaps hit the pool.
Regards,

Very cool re: Reds Legends. I remember a game -- must've been Monday Night Baseball 'cos that's all that was on during the week, baseball-wise -- in which Geo. Foster his his 31st & 32nd homers of the season just before that year's All-Star game. Also must've been '77 as it was the year he went on to hit 52. (Back when it was a BIG deal to hit 50 in a year. Let alone be on pace for 60+!) Exciting stuff, it was.
