WSOP 2009 winner event 38, updates 39-44

Winner of Event 38 - $2,000 Limit Hold'em is Marc Naalden, having bested the 446 entrants in the event. He takes home $190,770 for the victory and WSOP gold. Congratulations.

Day 3 of Event 39 - $1,500 No Limit Hold'em will resume today at 2:00pm todayh with 26 of the starting 2,715 remaning. No disrespect to the others but the only names which leapt off the page at me were Nam Le and Brandon Cantu.

Event 40 - $10,000 World Championship Pot Limit Omaha will return for Day 3 at 1:00pm PST with 25 of the starting 295 remaining in the action. Among them Noah Schwartz, Josh Arieh, Howard Lederer, Vtialy Lunkin, Chau Giang, David Williams, Nenad Medic and Barry Greenstein.

Event 41 - $5,000 No Limit Hold'em Shootout remains with 30 of the 280 starting players, Among them Phil Ivey, Jennifer Harman, Joe Serock, and David Pham to name a few.

153 of 412 players return for Day 2 of Event 42 - $2,500 Mixed Event. Amnon Filippi is currently your chip leader. Stay tuned to the action.

Estimates for today's Event 43 - $1,000 Seniors World Championship so far suggest of 2,600 players. Action just got under way today at noon in Vegas. I look forward to hearing more about the action of this event.
