Event 49 - $50,000 World Championship H.O.R.S.E. will enter its 5th day at 2:00pm today, having narrowed the field of 95 players down to the final table of 8. All are guaranteed a payout at this point, minimum of $162,382, while the top prize hangs high above at $1,276,802. The current chipleader by more than 1 million in chips is Erik Sagstrom, in second is Vitaly Lunkin (already a bracelet winner in this series), then David Bach, John Hanson, Huck Seed, Chau Giang, Erik Seidel, and the current shortstack Ville Wahlbeck (who also has a bracelet for the year.) This should be an exciting final table! Sadly, my boy Gus Hansen was the final table bubble, and had to settle for $123,895. Defending champion Freddy Deeb had to settle for 14th place and an $83,630 payday. Stay tuned to PokerNews.com for all the best.
