WWSOP 2009 Event 35 winner, updates for 36-40

The Event 35 - $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha winner is Richard Austin. He bested 363 total players to take home the $409,484 top prize, WSOP gold and glory. Congratulations.

Event 36 - $2,000 No Limit Hold'em is down to its final 15 players of the 1,695 who began the event. Top spot still be claimed is $586,212...

11 of the 164 players remain in Event 37 - $10,000 World Championship Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo 8-or-better. So, everyone left is getting paid, just some more than others! Top spot payout is $431,656.. Well worth hanging around for. Jeff Lisandro is currently in the chip lead, but a few other names ring a bell like Doyle Brunson and 'heyyyy baaaabyyyy' Scotty Nguyen!

Day 2 of Event 38 - $2,000 Limit Hold'em finds us with 107 players remaining of the 446 who began yesterday. Play will resume at 2:00pm PST.
