WSOP 2009 Nick Schulman wins Event 23

We've come to the end of the line in Event 23 - $10,000 World Championship No Limit Deuce to Seven Draw, and our winner is Nick Schulman who takes the WSOP bracelet and $279,742. Congratulations! But let's not discount the effort here. Schulman spent quite some time battling back and forth with Ville Wahlbeck who as you will recall already has one bracelet to his name so far in the series this year! He too is to be congratulated, and he doesn't go away empty handed, with an extra $172,864 in his pocket for 2nd place.

The win for Nick Schulman marks his 1st WSOP bracelet!

I'm still continuing to hit my refresh button in my browser to watch the goings-on in Event 25 - $2,500 Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo 8-or-better. One because Phil Ivey is still looking really strong in the event, but more importantly bwop is still hanging in there!!! C'mon now... you can do it!

Regards,
