WSOP 2009 Event 50 winner, updates 49, 51-54

Event 49 - $50,000 World Championship H.O.R.S.E. will enter into Day 4 today at 2:00pm. Of the 95 players who began this challenge on 19 remain. This also means that 3 of the players who return today, will be going home empty handed, as only the top 16 see a payday. The top prize is $1,276,802, well worth hanging around for! The current chipleader is Vitaly Lunkin, but there are still a lot of others not to be counted out just yet.

In Event 50 - $1,500 Limit Hold'em Shootout, we have a familiar face as the winner, Greg 'FBT' Mueller, who chalks up his 2nd WSOP bracelet in this series. He is now the 4th player in this year's series to win multiple bracelets. He takes home $ 194,854 and the bracelet. Congratulations.

Day 3 of Event 51 - $1,500 No Limit Hold'em will get underway today at 1:00pm, when 30 of the starting 2,781 players will return to the felt. The top spot will payout $664,426, but everyone is already in the money and guaranteed at least a $15,374 payday.

149 of 854 players will return today at 2:00pm for Event 52 - $3,000 Triple Chance No Limit Hold'em. $506,800 awaits...

Event 53 - $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo 8-or-better will return today at 2:00pm as well, for 136 players of the 467 who started. The top spot payout on this event is $159,390.

Event 54 - $1,500 No Limit Hold'em and Event 55 - $2,500 Limit Deuce to Seven Triple Draw will get started today at noon and 5:00pm respectively. Stay tuned to all the fine coverage at PokerNews.com.
